THE PETITION SEEKS TO PERSUADE SAMSUNG NOT TO USE EXYNOS

A very interesting petition has appeared on the Change.org server , which aims to put pressure on the Korean giant Samsung. The creators are trying to persuade the company to abandon the use of Exynos processors in its flagship models (as is the case in some markets, for example in Europe) and also to prefer photo-sensors from Sony instead of their own pieces. Everything is caused by relatively major shortcomings in the comparison of Exynos and Snapdragon versions of the same marked phones.
The differences between the versions with Exynos and Snapdragon have always existed in the past, but only in the current generation is the decline really noticeable. After all, as we wrote a few days ago in our article, the brand new Samsung Galaxy S20 + with Exynos 990 loses in game tests in full line with the Snapdragon 855 from the last generation Galaxy S10 +. That's a consideration. In addition, users are reportedly complaining about the higher warm-up of Exynos processors in comparison. Everything is even worse compared to the American brothers in the S20 + weapon with Snapdragons 865.

A similar situation exists with photosensors, because Samsung has decided to differentiate these components for the last series of S20 phones. The American pieces thus received as the main sensors Sony IMX555 with a size of 1 / 1.76 ″ and a pixel size of 1.8μm, compared to European / Asian models equipped with ISOCELL S5K2LD with essentially the same parameters. Although there is no direct evidence of large differences in performance in this comparison, public opinion is always on the side of Sony's sensors. The petition is just starting and has no great support, but it is still an interesting (and logical) act of the fans. Of course, nothing will change, but why not comment.
