Today's news will probably surprise few, because probably no one doubted the return of Huawei to the throne of mobile photography with the new flagship models. Yes, the famous benchmark DxOMark has already managed to test the Huawei P40 Pro and the result is almost surprisingly dominant. In the past, we were used to overcoming the competition by always a maximum of two points, but the P40 Pro did not get away with it and completely stamped the competition on the ground. In addition, it is worth mentioning the fact that it was not a test P40 Pro Plus with five photo sensors, but really only a P40 Pro with four photo sensors.
Even so, the Huawei P40 Pro reached a full 128 points and the steamer thus surpassed 124 points by Oppo Find X2 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. The score is dominant not only in the category of photography, but the phone also achieved the best results in video tests and selfie tests. The only minor flaw in the beauty is the fact that the phone was tested with European firmware, which is not yet available to standard customers. We will have to trust the experts from DxOMark, because Huawei will promise to realize this update on the market in the near future. However, this leaves only a miniature shell on the impressive accession of the P40 Pro to the throne.
The phone has been praised across all categories with an emphasis on great zoom performance, the best autofocus available so far, the best noise level and also, as usual, fantastic performance in poor lighting conditions. The P40 Pro received small complaints only for the occasional small inaccuracies in white balance and color accuracy, or for a smaller angle of view of ultra-wide images. The same is true in the case of video, where stabilization is brought to heaven. You can of course find a detailed test with all tested images directly on the DxOMark website .
